奖学金的种类

荣誉奖学金 are awarded to first-year students admitted to 九州娱乐官网. Students may apply on their own for these scholarships, but may also be nominated by their admissions counselor. Priority consideration for these scholarships is given to students who apply to WC 到12月1日.

Merit-based academic tuition scholarships are offered to students based on GPA, test scores, class rank or other criteria as determined by the Office of 招生.

Students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships when they submit 他们的应用程序. At the time of admission, students will be notified of their eligibility for merit-based scholarships. Awards generally range up to $36,000, renewable annually.

All admitted National Honor Society and Cum Laude Society students who have an unweighted GPA 3.0 or better receive at least $30,000 in an academic tuition award.

Academic tuition scholarships are awarded to active Phi Theta Kappa members who apply 作为转校生.

This $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to an incoming first year student and will renew annually for four years. All majors and interests are welcome to apply! 申请人 must submit an essay about a political topic of their choosing.

Children of former full-time Beneficial employees, with two or more years of service with Beneficial Corporation and its subsidiaries immediately prior to June 30, 1998 are potential candidates for these full-tuition scholarships. 合格的申请者 should request consideration with 他们的应用程序 for admission.

To qualify, students must satisfy BOTH of the following conditions:

Students who are applying for the Hodson Trust 奖学金 for Children of Former Beneficial Employees should adhere to the following timeline:

Priority Hodson Trust 奖学金 for Children of Former Beneficial Employees application 截止日期是 2/1/25, applications after this date will be reviewed based on availability for the scholarship.
Interviews for students who meet the academic standards for the Hodson Trust 奖学金 for Children of Former Beneficial Employees will begin in early February.

Incoming students interested in any area of theatre are encouraged to apply for the Timothy Maloney 奖学金.

Established through the generosity of alumni donors in honor of departmental founder and Professor Emeritus Timothy Maloney, multiple merit scholarships are awarded annually to incoming freshmen who intend to major in theatre.

A total of three (3) scholarships ranging from $3,000 to $7,500 will be made, renewable annually for four years, provided the recipient maintains good academic standing (GPA ≥ 2.5) and declares a theatre major.

Named and endowed scholarships are provided through the generosity of donors, alumni, 企业基金会. Eligibility for endowed scholarships are based on specific qualifications as established by the scholarship 供体(s), such as merit, residency, financial need, major, GPA, involvement in extra-curricular activities, etc.

Students need not apply for named scholarships; they are awarded at the discretion of the Director of Student 金融援助.

Named scholarship recipients may be asked to write a personal note of thanks to the 供体(s) who made your scholarship possible and/or attend a function with the scholarship 供体(s).

Private scholarship funds from private donors, civic organizations, corporations, foundations or other group are considered outside awards.

A private scholarship may affect your need-based financial aid if the total financial aid, including the outside award, exceeds federally calculated need or if the sum of all scholarships received exceeds the cost of attendance. 只要有可能， Office of Student 金融援助 will reduce loan and work-study awards first.

Students who receive a merit-based academic tuition scholarship are required to maintain a 2.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and full-time, continuous enrollment at 九州娱乐官网. International students who receive a merit scholarship are required 为了保持2.0 CGPA.

Students who receive an endowed scholarship, unless otherwise stated in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), are required 为了保持2.5 CGPA and full-time continuous enrollment at 九州娱乐官网. Endowed scholarships may or may not be renewable.

Students who leave WC and do not attend another college and are meeting the minimum 2.5 WC CGPA when they leave will automatically be eligible for their merit aid upon 回到厕所.
